Embroidery Needles
Pouch of embroidery needles for medium and heavy fabrics such as velvet, wool, brocade, woolen cloth or denim jeans. Embroidery needles are used on weft and warp fabrics from the thickest to the thinnest for all types of traditional embroidery. They have a big eye that makes it possible to thread the cotton embroidery yarn (or yarns) through, which is thicker than a conventional sewing yarn. The embroidery yarn is shinier and will give a relief aspect to your work. Made in France in our factory, from nickel-plated steel, our needles go through 27 manufacturing stages, which guarantees an incomparable slide and an irreproachable tip. The numbering corresponds to the size of each needle, No. 1 being the longest and thickest one, and No. 10 the shortest and thinnest one of the series.
Chenille Needles
Perfect for your visible mending projects, a pouch of 6 chenille needles No. 22, with tips, ideal for embroidery using a very thick yarn (silk chenille type) on medium canvases and fabrics. BOHIN chenille needles have a long eye that allows a thick yarn to be threaded through in order to make ribbon embroidery or embellishment embroidery using very thick threads such as silk chenille. Made in France, from nickel-plated steel, the needles go through 27 manufacturing stages, which guarantees an incomparable slide and an irreproachable tip.
Pair with our wash away stabilizer to design your own patterns and visible mending projects.

Sharps
Sharps are a general purpose sewing needle. They are the most common needle found in the home and are used by dressmakers around the world. Their short round eyes provide added strength during sewing.
Not sure which size to buy or use? The general rule is the bigger the number the finer and shorter the needle.
Use Sharps size 2, 3 and 4 for general sewing on medium to heavy fabrics. These sizes have a larger eye and therefore are easier to thread. Sharps in size 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 are the most popular within the sharp family and they are commonly used for general sewing on light to medium fabrics.
