Join Laura Nelkin in The Loft at Rabbit Row as she takes you through the steps of making your very own three-stitch I-Cord tool! We'll make our tools, and then learn how to use them.

I-Cord Makers are a versatile tool for your project bag. Besides making an I-Cord you can do an attached I-Cord Bind Off, make jewelry and more. Expect an afternoon of learning, creativity, and community.

Cost 

Class Fee + Materials $65.  Want to make two I-Cord Tools? Add an additional $5 materials fee to the cart.

Scrap DK or worsted weight yarn
A project on the needles to try the I-Cord Bind Off with (Worsted Weight or Smaller)

About Laura

Many of you know Laura Nelkin from the Knit for Food Knitathon fundraiser she hosts each winter to combat hunger throughout the world. She is a prolific and innovative knitwear designer and pattern maker. She is known for her complex but accessible designs that challenge knitters to think about their stitches in a new way. Taking inspiration from her home in the gorges Fingerlakes Region of Upstate New York, Laura loves incorporating elements into her designs that reference the landscape around her.

Laura has traveled all over the country to teach classes and workshops on some of her favorite techniques. She loves to share her enthusiasm for knitting with others!
