🍂 See You at Rhinebeck! Find Me in the
Meadowbound Hares Sweater
If you're heading to the New York Sheep & Wool Festival
in Rhinebeck this month, be sure to keep an eye out for me!
If you spot me on the festival grounds, come say hello,
introduce yourself, and get a small gift just for finding me! To help
you pick me out of the crowd, I’ll be proudly wearing the Meadowbound Hares sweater designed by Svetlana Gibadullina – it has 🐇🐇🐇
For this project, I’m highlighting my local fibershed and
the Rhinebeck Sweaters for Good campaign. I am deeply grateful to be entrusted to offer these gorgeous yarns at Rabbit Row:
MC (Main Color): A cozy Merino/Alpaca blend from
Fox and Hound Merino out of Randolph, NY in a rich cobalt blue.
CC (Contrast Color): Scout’s Honor—an ultra-soft
white Cormo from Kris Sayre’s local flock right here in Corning, NY, making it a Rabbit Row ✨Exclusive✨.
If you see those hares hopping by, make sure to flag me down!

If you’ve ever wished you could take one of our Rabbit Row classes, but you live too far away, your wish has come true.✨
I’m excited to introduce a brand-new Needle Felted Pumpkin Kit, complete with an exclusive video tutorial. I spent a couple of days filming a full, step-by-step tutorial that is included with your purchase. It’s real, raw, and unedited—and for a first-timer on camera, it's pretty good! (Miraculously, I survived the filming process without stabbing myself)
Your kit comes with felting needles, the tutorial and 100% NY sourced, processed and dyed wool roving - shining a spotlight on our local fibershed! Whether you're decorating for autumn or looking for a cozy weekend making project, this kit brings a little piece of the Rabbit Row studio right to your crafting table.
I hope you enjoy it!

Rabbit Row is an Official Drop-Off Location for Knit the Rainbow!🌈
We are happy to continue as an official local drop-off location for Knit the Rainbow!
Knit the Rainbow (KtR) is an incredible nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping unhoused and at-risk LGBTQ+ youth warm and protected during harsh winter months by providing them with handmade knit and crocheted garments. Because a huge percentage of homeless youth identify as LGBTQ+, community-made items offer both essential physical warmth and a vital reminder that they are seen, valued, and cared for.
How You Can Help
If you love to knit or crochet, you can put your skills to work for a wonderful cause:
Make: Craft winter-protective garments (like beanies, scarves, cowls, mittens, and sweaters) following Knit the Rainbow's guidelines and patterns.
|
Drop Off: Bring your completed handmade items directly to us here at Rabbit Row during our shop hours.
We'll Handle the Rest: Periodically, we will bundle up all your generous donations and ship them off to KtR for direct distribution to youth in need!
Let’s come together as a fiber community to share some handmade comfort and love this season. Stop by the shop to drop off your donations or chat about project ideas—we can't wait to see what you make!
Leah dropped off this HUGE stack of handmade items just today - THANK YOU LEAH🌈✨
