The Ultimate Heritage Layer: The Pelica Vest by Rosa Pomar
Our Next Knit-a-Long - begins March 15th

The Pelica Vest, designed by Rosa Pomar, is a timeless staple that emits the rugged charm of the Portuguese countryside!
Knit seamlessly from the top down, this v-neck vest features a rhythmic garter stitch that creates a dense, squishy fabric—reminiscent of the warm shearling vests it was inspired by. The design is beautifully framed with I-cord edges all around, giving it a polished, professional finish that balances its rustic roots. With instructions for both a cropped and standard version, it’s the perfect companion for high-waisted trousers or layering over your favorite linen tunics.
Pattern Details:
Techniques: Garter stitch(that's all knitting, folks!), I-cord edging, and buttonholes. Pro Tip: We are even stocked up on the same classic buttons from the sample—be sure to grab those while you're here!
Recommended 🧶: suggest a worsted-weight, woolen-spun yarn for that authentic, sturdy feel. Try our: Harrisville Highland, Mountain Meadow Cora, or one of our beautiful local yarns!
The Rabbit Row Perk🎁:The pattern and pattern support are FREE when you purchase your yarn at Rabbit Row! We meet Sunday afternoons during #stitchcorning, but you can cast on whenever you’re ready to get cozy.
Stop by the shop to select your yarn and buttons and receive your pattern today!
