Our supplier has been producing the highest quality linen for more than 60 years in Eastern Europe, a region well-known for its tradition of heritage linen production. They use a flax plant grown in Europe. Their factory runs exclusively on renewable energy, all their manufacturing facilities are located close together to reduce CO2 transportation emissions, and they are active participants in the Fashion Revolution movement, which fosters more transparency about working conditions in the textile industry.

Care Instructions

Wash

 Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and color, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

 Long-Term Care

 Linen can withstand high heat when washing and drying. Choose warm or hot water when machine washing (choose a cooler temperature for color). Tumble dry on hot, and remove when slightly damp to help eliminate wrinkles.

 Fabric Tips

 Press your fabric before cutting out your pattern pieces. Use a hot iron when pressing.
