Geode & Ice Dye Workshop: Custom Socks & Shoelaces

Ready to give your footwear a major personality upgrade? In this hands-on workshop, we’re transforming ordinary socks and sneaker laces into total statement pieces. 🌈  Grab a friend and get ready to play with two of the coolest, most addictive modern dye techniques out there!

We will explore both the Direct Dye Method and the Ice Dye Method, allowing you to choose the exact vibe you want for your project:

💥 The Direct Dye Method creates bold, vibrant, and intense color saturation.

🧊 The Ice Dye Method results in beautiful, lighter shades where the melting ice causes the pigment to travel and mix, creating unique, watercolor-like color combinations.

The Process & Pickup Schedule

Because these professional-grade dyes require a "batching" period to fully bond with the fiber, pieces will need to sit in the dye overnight. You will bind and dye your items during Saturday's class, and we will keep them safe overnight to batch. Stop back by the shop on Sunday, June 21st between Noon and 3:00 PM to rinse out your creations and reveal your finished masterpieces!

Materials & Kits

Your materials kit includes all the specialized dyes, fixatives, and tools required to dye one pair of socks and one set of shoelaces.

• Want to dye more? Extra sock and lace sets are available for $5.00 per set if you want to keep the creativity going!

What to Wear

⚠️ Please dress appropriately! Fabric dye is permanent and splashes happen. Wear clothing and shoes that you don't mind getting a little colorful.🫟
