Welcome to the "third craft"—Tunisian Crochet. It’s the perfect hybrid of both knit and crochet worlds, creating a unique, woven-look texture that is as fun to make as it is to feel and wear.

In this workshop, we are diving into the beautiful Merci Cloth patterns by the queen of Tunisian crochet, Toni Lipsey. These cloths aren't just practical; they are a "playground" for learning new stitches without the stress of a massive project.

What We’ll Cover:

  • The Basics: Getting comfortable with the Tunisian hook (yes, the long one - with a cable!).

  • The "Forward" & "Return": Understanding the unique two-step rhythm of Tunisian crochet.

  • Essential Stitches: Mastering the foundation row and the classic Tunisian Simple Stitch.

  • Finishing Touches: How to bind off and create a clean, professional edge for your cloths.

Class Details:

  • Skill Level: Beginner-friendly! If you can hold a hook, you can do this.

  • Materials Needed: A Tunisian crochet hook (6mm to 6.5mm) and 100 g of your favorite worsted weight cotton yarn for the washcloth; 200 g for the towel. (You can just start with one skein if you just want to play around a bit).
