Established in 2021 as part of their sustainable homestead journey, Northwood raises heritage livestock with care right alongside their specialty cut flowers.
Spun from their very own flock of Tunis sheep, each skein offers a luxurious 200 yards of worsted weight yarn in a warm, natural creamy color. It is wonderfully soft and bouncy, working up smoothly into any pattern you have on the needles or hook.
About Northwood Tunis
Tunis sheep are one of the oldest breeds of livestock in the United States. They are characterized by their lovely cinnamon colored bodies and creamy white fleece. It is also a common personality trait for Tunis to love being around children! Northwood owners, Hannah and Scott, are raising quality Tunis for meat production and fiber processing.
